REVIEW

The brother duo, affectionately known as Jaziel Bros, burst into the music scene when they masterminded the production and also featured on the background vocals on Lesego's debut album My Music. Their impressive and amazing talent was shown further on Jub Jub's project, producing some of his biggest songs, which captured both hip hop and gospel music followers. It was clear from that point that these two blood brothers were destined for even bigger and better things, after nominations in the SAMA awards, they are also up for a KORA award. I'm sure they'll do the same in the upcoming Metro Fm music awards.

They released their debut album, aptly naming it The Beginning. The first single Ngeke Ngiphinde showed that their formula really works, as the song caught on radio like wild fire. The 14-track album is full of energy, substance and charm. All the songs are expertly produced and the vocals are awesome. I particularly enjoyed Gumba, on top of the leading track, and Hlala Nawe, which explicity showcases their vocal strengths. The melody of Vila Voco sounds very well thought of and unique, and the subject of the song very relatable.

This duo is a blessing to the music industry and as young as they are, I have a wish that they grow from strength to strength. The legendary Bheki Khoza attests to this, as he utters on the album credits, "It's a great blessing and gives me the pleasure to the talents of these young fellows flourishing. I was always suspicious this lot will go far. they were always curious and inquisitive...They have always been innovative".

YEAHBO.DOT.NET gives it 3/5 stars.
