Shelly Darlingson (Anna Farris) has had a raw deal in life as far as she can remember. She was abandoned as an infant had been shipped from one foster home to the next. That is until she reached her young womanhood. She then decided to change things for herself and ended up with Hugh Heffner at the Playboy Mansion as one of the Playboy Bunnies (although I thought they are referred to as Playmates, and the Bunnies are the ones that waitress at the Playboy clubs). Anyway, her life takes another turn as she is informed that Hef doesn't want her at the Mansion anymore because she is too old. Finding herself at the girls college dorm, she has found a new family. She helps a group of socially-handicapped women find themselves. This experience teaches her a lot about herself too and how life in general may take you to where you may or may not want it to.

Anna Farris is awesome playing the blonde stereotype. Colin Hanks, who plays Oliver, Shelly's more sane boyfriend played his part very well too. There is also an appearance from Demi Moore and Bruce Willis' daughter Rumer Willis, as one of the outcasts at the dorm.

The House Bunny is a very funny movie. Go out there with an intention to laugh, no matter how stupid the jokes are, because they will make you laugh.
