Life in the Fast Lane
This book is about partying and irresponsible sexual behaviour
Brunette and Samantha goes to Soweto on holiday and stays with Brunette's mom. Her parents are divorced.
Brunette is shocke dto find a baby at her mother's house; and relieved to dicover that it's her cousin Kedibone's baby. Kedibone was out partying late one evening, and that resulted in an unwanted pregnancy. Kedibone's mom then kicked her out
Upon coming home from a party one night, Bru and Sam discovered Kedibone lying on the floor. After rushing her to hospital, they discovered that she has AIDS.
Kedibone's condition led to her mother begging her forgiveness for evicting her, the family becoming a very close knit one, and - most importantly - Brunette and Samantha developing a deeper understanding of responsibility and the consequences of "life in the fast lane"
