Blaque Magazine is back on your shelves

To all the fans of Blaque Magazine will be happy to learn that the magazine is back after being on the hiatus for about 2 years.

Trevor Noah is on the re-launch cover

The cover, with stand up comedian and television personality Trevor Noah, was launched last week at an intimate dinner at men’s clothing shop HTK in Sandton‘s Mandela Square. On the menu was sushi and other sea food members, as well as different types of white and red wine. It wasn’t that much of a party, but a small gathering of conversations from invited guests that ranged from customers, clients, advertisers and some media.

The re-launch issue of Blaque Magazine hits shelves this week at Exclusive Books, HTK shops, as well as some unconventional distribution outlets like urban clothing shops, corporate companies, health clubs, etc. The Blaque team has mentioned and emphasized that they are changing the landscape of magazine distribution in the country. That’s some groundbreaking stride, if you ask me.

If you do not get a copy of your favourite men’s lifestyle magazine at any of the above outlets, hit us up, we’ll arrange one for you.

  6. Hello gentlemen, you will be hard pressed to believe that I was looking at your original launch issue with Lucas Radebe on the cover, just 2 days ago. Your short article on the 325is “gusheshe” gave me goosebumps.I am a 40 year old entreprenuer in Swaziland with a Bsc in Computer Science and several business short courses. What I chose to do for a living has nothing with my formal schooling. I turned my passion into a 3 million P/A turnover business. I tend to buy all, I mean all the lifestyle magazines (and car) every month, men’s health, GQ, prestige, destiny man, top billing… top car, car, cars in action, even some american ones like the Robb Report of which the RSA Prestige is a good emulator. We wish you the very best in your re-launch. The saddest, saddest thing is that our black brothers, whom you predominently target, simply refuse to read. period. There is a small enough grouping of successful black brother out of which the reading fraction is very small. You “must” do more to target other races. How about ensuring that every, I mean every tertiary institution library has a copy of your mag, to inculcate into young minds the ideals and style of the Blaque man… Just thinking. Of course you hear clearly the concerns about distribution from the other commentors. You cannot negotiate delivery. you just deliver and explain later…

  7. Unfortunately, I have been to all bookshops for that matter, and never came across Blaque magazine. I used to be an avid reader of it, back then in the days whilst it was still piblished in hard copies, than electronically.I’d love to get of hold of it thereof, so what shall I do?

Looking forward to hear from you.
